Landlord Terms & Conditions

Note: Ensure you list a property from where the property is located for location approximation accuracy for users.

By listing properties on Kejahub, landlords agree to the following terms and conditions. These rules are designed to protect tenants, promote trust, and maintain a professional, transparent platform for all users.

1. No Fake Listings

All listings must be of real, available houses. Posting non-existent or misleading listings will result in a permanent ban.

2. Property Verification

All houses must be verified by Kejahub before being published. Verification ensures only legitimate listings are shown to students.

3. Accurate Property Information

Landlords must provide clear and honest details about the house, including location, size, amenities, rent, and availability. No exaggeration or omission is allowed.

4. Real Photos Only

All images uploaded must be of the actual house. Stock images, blurred photos, or photos of other properties are not allowed.

5. Mandatory ID Verification

Landlords must verify their identity by submitting a valid national ID and contact information before listing any property.

6. No Illegal or Unsafe Housing

Do not list unfinished, illegal, or uninhabitable properties. All listed houses must meet basic health and safety standards.

7. Timely Listing Updates

Landlords are required to update the status of properties (e.g., rented, under renovation) promptly to avoid misleading users.

8. Transparent Charges

All charges — rent, deposit, service fees, and agency fees (if any) — must be stated clearly. Hidden costs are prohibited.

9. Non-Discrimination Policy

Kejahub does not tolerate listings that discriminate by gender, tribe, religion, race, or disability. Violations may lead to removal of listings or bans.

10. Privacy & Data Security

Landlords must not share tenants' private information without consent. All user data should be handled confidentially and in compliance with the Privacy Policy.

11. Professional Conduct

Landlords must communicate respectfully and professionally. Prompt responses to tenant messages and inquiries are expected within 24–48 hours.

12. No Unauthorized Subletting

Only landlords or authorized property managers may list properties. Do not list a house on behalf of someone else without permission.

13. Consequences of Violations

Violating these terms may lead to:

  • Temporary or permanent account suspension
  • Removal of all active listings
  • Legal reporting where necessary
